We are the inventors of the bioclimatic pergola
Our story begins in 1998, at a time when no one could answer the question: How can I enjoy my terrace despite the sun and the elements ?
With this challenge in mind, we began to contemplate various possible systems, and a few months later, the first bioclimatic pergola was born. Aware of the effectiveness of our terrace covering system and its originality, a patent was filed, and Solisysteme was born shortly thereafter.
Over the years, different names were considered to describe this new technology. Phrases like adjustable sunshade, pergola with adjustable louvers were mentioned, but it was ultimately the term "bioclimatic pergola" that stuck.
From the garage of its initial conception to the 12,000 m² production workshops of Solisysteme in Avanton near Poitiers, the Bioclimatic Pergola has evolved and perfected itself while establishing itself as a reference among terrace shelter manufacturers in France and in more than 15 countries.
